    I am 23 years old and since I was in elementary school hair has been a big problem. On both sides of my family excessive hair is dominant; being half-Spanish also adds a dark color to the hair. In my freshman year of high school a group of guys were going to give me a razor for Christmas. I say were because a friend of mine stopped them and then finally told me about it a few days later.   I was devastated; I went home and cried. That same evening I went to the store to buy bleach for my facial hair.

    This high school prank started many years of bleaching, then in college I started waxing. I even tried the IGIA Hair Remover. All this and there was no improvement, especially for my self-esteem. I had always wanted to try electrolysis, but I knew it was a long and painful process not to mention costly. My cousin referred me to Marion at Winds Face and Body Studio, so I thought I'd give it a try. The transdermal electrolysis was not what I expected. Instead of a needle she used a Q-tip TM   probe, treating sections of hairs at one time not one hair at a time. On top of that, it was not painful at all.

      I started going in January, weekly for two months, treating my upper lip, chin and in between my eyebrows. When I first began my upper lip was thick and dark, and I would still bleach in between trips. I had about 30 to 40 thick black hairs growing underneath my chin, and I practically had a uni-brow. I am amazed at how fast this process is working and at the loss of my facial hair. I have now spread my trips to 10 to 14 days apart. My chin has only five to ten hairs that grow out of some scars. My upper lip has thinned drastically and I do not have to bleach in between appointments any more. My eyebrows look terrific. We even started treating the facial hair on the sides of my face. After only a couple of times there is a dramatic difference in thickness and color.

     My sister happened to start needle electrolysis about the same time and when she saw me, she was not only impressed but also a little jealous at the difference in progress. I am so pleased with the way this process has worked on me. I plan on staying to treat not only problem areas but also even the basics, like my legs, bikini line and underarms.
